Borobudur is the answer Buddhism – at a point in its history halfway between the appearance of its founder the Great Buddha Sakyamuni (Siddharta Gautama) and our time – gave to the ever-lasting enigma, that is, the relation of the unreal and illusive world in which mankind opereates and the ultimate reality behind it all.
